Sociologists and psychologists know it, economists are surprised and yet many football clubs squander money: they pay millions for overseas talents and then they do nothing more with it. The social support of players should be better; a minimum investment with a great return. There are about 160 different nationalities that played last season in the eredivisie (Premier League in English). At this time the professional club take care of a few basic bunsines of these foreign players: the residence/work permit, housing, school for the children, medical care, an internet connection and of course to make cheap international calls to the home country. At most clubs is Dutch and/or English classes offered, but this is often optional.
